Jimmy Beale

 Having worked in independent education for twenty years, my most recent experience has been in a commercial role, leading an education and training company with a global outreach. I am now delighted to be right at the heart of this group of like-minded people, all of whom are so focussed in their approach to creating something very special.

Prior to my last formal role in schools, where I was the Headmaster of a leading south-west co-educational day and boarding prep school, I worked in both senior and prep schools. After graduating with a geography degree, I joined the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary as a Police Officer, but soon decided that teaching was to be my vocation. During my time as a teacher and senior leader in schools, I undertook many roles but always ensured that children, their progress and their welfare were at the heart of all I did. I have worked as an inspector with ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) and as a maintained primary school Governor and I remain involved in all aspects of developments in education, teaching and learning.

In 2015 I founded The English Education, the school search and placement consultancy that is now under the umbrella of Constellation Group. Alongside a team of dedicated consultants, I offer families the highest quality of service as they seek places for their children at UK Independent Schools.
